Classroom Dance Calendar 2019

So you’ve read our Guide to Teaching Dance series and you’ve found your groove? Thought so! To help you along this year we’ve put together a 2019 Dance Calendar! Providing a year-round excuse for getting the whole class up and jiving! 

Our calendar contains a long list of celebrations, no matter how big or small, to ensure that you and you’re class are never lost for a reason to get moving! 

2019 School Dance Calendar

In February you can usher in The Year of The Pig by exploring the Chinese Zodiac through dance. Then, in March, why not think about how to recreate some of your classes’ favourite fictional lands with a Bringing Books to Life workshop?

For International Dance Day in April you could try out our Dance Around Our World workshop, or if you’d rather wait til after SATS then take a look at Music through the Ages for World Music Day.

The Autumn is jam-packed with events to dance along with. Try using the collaborative approach of dance to celebrate Friendship and Teamwork during Anti-Bullying Week, or to explore the story of the Ramayana for Diwali 2019.
